TOLLEMACHE CUP 2007/8 Final Lancashire were 7th out of 8 The team was the same as the Qualifier QUALIFIER 24/25 November 2007 Group (of 9) Surrey 122 Lancashire 102 Oxfordshire 99 Sussex 91 Team Austin Barnes (captain) & Stuart Norris Catherine Draper & Andrew Woodcock Andrew Petrie & Gareth Roberts Paul & Hilda Williams Nick & Sue Woodcock It was a bit of a roller coaster ride in the hour after the end of play - first we had qualified subject to an appeal hearing, then Oxfordshire won the appeal and consequently we lost second place to them on a split tie, then finally Surrey noticed a significant scoring error in their match against Oxfordshire in the final round which reduced Oxfordshire's score by 3 vps! Hopefully there will be no more twists to the tale. Since 2000 Lancashire qualified for final in 2002 and 2007
