Award |
| Megan was Treasurer of Brierfield Bridge Club from 1993 to 1997 and Secretary from 1997 to 2010. As Secretary of Brierfield Bridge Club she played a leading role in enabling Brierfield to purchase and furnish its own premises. She also was involved in the launch of the innovative Pendle Witch Pairs. Brierfield is the thirteenth best attended club affiliated to the EBU.  Megan was elected on to the Executive Committee of the Lancashire Contract Bridge Association in May 2001 and served until forced by ill health to resign last year. She took on the organisation of the three county (Lancashire, Manchester and Merseyside) green pointed weekends at Risley until the EBU licensing system made them uneconomical and they stopped in 2007. These weekends raised much money for all three counties. Megan still serves on the Committee at Brierfield. Megan received her award from EBU Vice Chairman Andrew Petrie |
